Stormy weather
It's been storming here for what seems like a whole week. It's been raining alot, with torrential downpours at night and we've had these huge winds. The ocean by our place has been looking like something out of The Perfect Storm. But today, the sun was out and the wind's died down, and the surfers were back out this afternoon after having stayed away for the past few days.

I love the sea during stormy weather! It's so exciting!
I'm realizing just how far out we are up here. I think we've decided to move closer to the city when the lease is up. How cool to have the ocean so close to you.

Just found your blog via other blogs (expats living in Australia). I just moved here in Sydney a few weeks ago and was feeling a bit lonely. Good thing I discovered your blog and other blogs, too!
Anyway, right now the only thing I love is the beach but when the weather's stormy I remember my family :(

PS. Do you know if storms are frequent here in Sydney?
Hi Erica: I just now saw your comment. I know, it's really hard to be in a new country very very far from friends and family. Start up a blog and I'll come visit! And I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but since we've been here, we've had a ton of wicked storms, especially in the evenings or at night. take care!
