Those were Vic's words when I told him about my new-found love for a hot water bottle that I bought over the weekend. I'm sure I've whinged about this before on this blog, but our little apartment (like most buildings in Sydney) has no central heating. This means that as soon as the sun goes down, which these days is around 5pm, it is absolutely freezing and our bed turns into an ice block.
One of the other students, who is from New Zealand - where it gets even colder and yet they also don't have central heating - swears by a hot water bottle. And now I have to agree, there is nothing like getting under the covers of an already warmed-up bed.
Next on my list of products I must buy to keep warm through the Sydney winter is a duvet suit. Who cares if it's made by a company called "Lazypatch". In fact, that makes it all the more attractive.

I love the title of this post. When I first arrived in New Zealand, my mother-in-law gave me a hot water bottle. Little did I know then that it was soon to become one of my favourite possessions. LOL.
C'mon, suck it up. Since when does somebody from Kincardine show somebody from Suds how to handle the cold?
BTW, don't mention the duvet suit to Nicole.
Hi Juli, I know! I am absolutely loving my hot water bottle. I can hardly believe I spent most of my life without one!
Hey Marcle, even Vic is having a hard time with the cold nights, a couple of nights he slept with a sweater on! So, I'm not feeling too wimpy. are you sure you don't want me to spread the word of the duvet suit to nicole - you can get his and hers!!
